VBNU is looking for head coaches and assistant coaches for Team Nunavut male and female teams



This will be a volunteer position, with an honorarium provided at the end of the term.

Coaching Term:
April 1, 2023 - March 31, 2024

Major Games:
2023 North American Indigenous Games
July 15 - 23, 2023 - Halifax, NS

2024 Arctic Winter Games
March 10 - 16, 2024 - Mat-su Valley, Alaska

Dates that Coaches need to be available:

July 9 - 15, 2023 - Pre- NAIG Training
July 15 - 23, 2023 - 2023 NAIG Games
November 10 - 12, 2023 - Coaching Symposium
February 17 - 25, 2024 - Pre - AWG Training (Dates may change)
March 7 - 10, 2024 - Positional Travel and Pre-AWG Training
March 10-16, 2024 - 2024 AWG Games

Required Training / Certification:

Head Coaches MUST be certified (minimum) in the Development Coach (Volleyball) Pathway and Safe Sport Module
Assistant Coaches MUST have completed MED Online Module and Safe Sport Module. 

If selected coaches will be asked to submit a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
